10 Years have passed since Ophil first stepped on stage in Winfield, Kansas and almost two years have passed since we started recording this project. Needless to say, we like to take our time. A couple of months ago, as I was listening to rough cuts from the studio, I began to worry about what people were going to think about this album. Was it too produced? What's up with the rap song? Why are they still playing ska? I quickly realized that it didn't matter what people thought. It never really has. People are entitled to their opinions and we're entitled to make the music that WE want to. So we did.

"Love Songs For Soccer Moms" is a culmination of 10 years of musicianship, friendship, and fighting... raucous good times and miserable bad times. We hope you have as much fun listening to it as we did creating it.
